A new Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers was recently launched where new fresh content was added to the game was highlighted. The latest addition included more unique Eden raid bosses, Ruby Weapon boss fights as well as snippets of the game story.

It seems that the bosses in the game from the next part of the Eden raids game will challenge players against Ramuh, Ifrit, as well as Garuda. Ruby Weapon, the most challenging boss from the Final Fantasy 7 game, will also make a special appearance in the game as a part of the quest.

It is also seen that Dalamud, the moon which captured and held Bahamut, would crash down on Eorzea again. Dalamud has already crashed once before, and it created a massive calamity, including human sacrifices and parts of the moon scattered across Eorzea.

Final Fantasy 14 Trailer

This will only mean that a new satellite would be launched even though Dalamud features in the trailer with the depth Allagan technology around it. The trailer also showcased snippets of the original content, which was featured during a live video streaming show with the producer of the game. However, it didn’t show any new umbrellas that the players would carry.

The Final Fantasy 14 is a multiplayer online game of role-playing, which was developed and released by Square Finx. The game was directed as well as produced by Naoki Yoshida and was released across the world as Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 versions in August 2013. The game, popularly known as the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, is a successful replacement of the 2010 version of the set of the same name.

The Final Fantasy 14 game takes place in the land of Eorzea. The conclusion of the original game features the dragon Bahamut escaping from the lunar position to begin the Seventh Umbral Calamity. This is an apocalyptic circumstance that eventually destroys a significant portion of Eorzea. However, with the blessing of the Gods, the player character escapes, and time travels five years into the future. With Eorzea recovering and rebuilding itself again, the player will have to deal with an impending threat of a massive invasion by the Garlean Empire from the northern end.

Car enthusiasts are already burning desires to see one of the most famous stories in the automobile industry on the silver screen when Ford v. Ferrari drops in theaters this autumn. Starring Academy Award winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale, 20th Century Fox on Sunday released the first trailer of the highly anticipated Ford v. Ferrari which is perhaps the only film about the 1966 Le Mans World Championship.

A quick recap: Henry Ford II wanted to dominate motorsports with the Blue Oval back in the early 1960s. He understood that the best way to do that would be to acquire a successful company, so he set his sights on Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari welcomed the move until the 11th hour when it was dawn on him that he could lose some control of the racing side of the business. Ford became angry and told his team to beat Ferrari on the home turf at Le Mans.

Le Mans Ford Vs Ferrari

Paramus,NJ – February 18th 2017 – the historic Ford GT car sits in Classic Gulf livery. The GT was made to compete with designs of Ferrari.

Ford v. Ferrari tells the story of a maverick car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and his British driver, Ken Miles (Bale) who were dispatched by Henry Ford II (Tracy Letts) to build a revolutionary race car from scratch that could finally defeat the perennially dominant Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France. Though Ken Miles would get behind the wheel of the new Ford racing vehicle when completed, Shelby and Miles battled the laws of physics, corporate interference, and their personal demons.

Ford V. Ferrari Trailer

A film based on these true events has for many years been in works. Fox, which is now owned by Disney, initially planned Ford v Ferrari release to be this summer but later pushed the release to this fall in other to position it better for an awards run.

James Mangold’s fans will be more excited to have Ford v. Ferrari which is the first from the American film director since after his incredible work on Logan. Ford v Ferrari trailer should do more than convincing anyone it’s definitely a top class movie. The ambitious car designer (Damon) and his fearless driver (Bale) both seem to have a full blast of their charm aside from firmly buckling the seat belt to burn tires. Damon is essentially on a top gear doing a smirking version of Tommy Lee Jones, while Bale had to lose 40 pounds of an American accent to play daring British.

Ford v. Ferrari will be available in Theaters on November 15th. The racing film also stars Jon Bernthal, Tracy Letts, Josh Lucas, Caitriona Balfe, and Noah Jupe while Jason Keller, director Mangold, John-Henry Butterworth, and Jez penned the script.

Oliver Stone’s Snowden, is a part-fictionalized biographical political thriller, which tells the true story of a NSA contractor who spilled details of classified surveillance programs.

First Trailer For Edward Snowden Movie

Edward Snowden starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, doesn’t look like the NSA contractor and certainly doesn’t sound like him. Also appearing in the start-studded movie: Shailene Woodley as Snowden’s girlfriend Lindsay Mills, Zachary Quinto as crusader/journo, Melissa Leo as Laura Poitras, his Pulitzer-winning colleague, and Nicholas Cage as Snowden’s NSA commander.

As you might expect, the trailer has too much action going on – intense conversations, angry Glenn Greewald, covert meetings. And then, there’s the unexpected – a sex scene with Snowden, a webcam and his girlfriend.

Thierry Fremaux, director of the Institut Lumière and of the Cannes Film Festival, recently talked about the Edward Snowden biopic which was privately screened at the Sun Valley Film Festival: “I saw Snowden and it’s a really good film. It complements Citizen Four marvellously.”

From Open Road Films, Snowden, is based on true events, telling the untold personal story of the famed whistleblower who became one of the most wanted men in every country. Gordon-Levitt secretly met Snowden, the whistle blower and privacy advocate who is currently holed up in Russia.

Considered a hero by some, a traitor by others, the movie shows Snowden in positive light and the US government as the villain. There is no gray area, here.

Pushed back twice from its original released it, the film is all slated to release in September 16, 2016.

Pixar movies are loved by not only kids but also by adults. Starting from the Luxo Jr. to Finding Nemo and Brave, every movie truly makes the animated world as good as real, or even sometimes better than that.

What is the magical element that brings those Pixar movies to life? Is it the technology used? Or is it the artistic sensibility? Well, it’s a combination of both. The purpose is to create a world that is believable and looks more like the real world with the help of animation technology.

Combining all those points to create a line, and again combining all those lines to create objects or the character’s face, which looks so real, as if that really exists in real world. The clutch of technical and scientific achievements of Pixar can hardly be matched by any other animation studio.

Pixar Movies Are Blend of Art and Science

Pixar Animation Studios use technology in the most prominent manner by making software that allows them to produce storyboards and design concept work. They have created the most remarkable modeling and animation software that allowed them to create animation in their movies which we all love.

Pixar’s consequent films display the timeline of technological developments in computer graphics. In 2001, Monsters, Inc. introduced the on-screen representation of fur. While two years later, Finding Nemo leads the way to new techniques in digital lighting, which were used to create water that looked so real. The Ratatouille and Incredibles portray realistic human characters and improvements in the simulation of crowds and fluids.

The scale of those technological breakthroughs has changed in recent years. In 2009, Up came along the advances were limited to features and balloons. But in 2012, Brave brought along an algorithm that had the ability to produce realistic forest and vegetation. The recent updates might not seem as significant, but it shows that Pixar movies have never stopped from innovating in animation technology and have varied in the way they render their animation.

Lighting plays an important role in displaying the mood and emotions, Wall-E being the perfect example. Pixar has proved that art and science go hand-in-hand and their movies are the greatest example of that.

Our emotions play a major role in our lives; it impacts our behavior and our decisions in a tremendous manner. Humans were evolved to stay with other humans, interacting with them emotionally. But as the technology has advanced, we have moved on from face-to-face interactions to pinging and chatting. Sure, we can express our emotions through those so-called emojis, but can they equate expressions of a human face? Is there a way to change this and add emotions to the technology? Maybe the app with EQ that Rana talks about in this video could help.

The technology that exists today is really intelligent cognitively but they seem really worthless emotionally. While most of the people spend half of their day, interacting with those screens, it would be great if those devices would understand our emotions and respond accordingly. As you saw in the video, this app with EQ could tell if you are smiling or frowning, surprised or smirking, which can be really helpful in developing technology with EQ.

App with EQ can know how you feel

Imagine you are chatting on your phone, reading some messages, and when you smile, your smartphone recognizes that you are happy and will respond in such a way. That would be amazing if your smartphone felt the same for you as you do for it, right?

It is astonishing how this app senses Cloe’s emotions and displays them accurately on the screen. The app observes every minute detail when humans display their facial expressions, making it possible to differentiate between similar expressions. However, don’t expect this app to respond to your poker face!

This app with EQ can be combined with various devices until the time comes when we will have a built-in emotion chip in our devices. Within a decade or two, all the gadgets that we might use will be emotionally intelligent, and we may be surprised by thinking of the time when machines were void of emotions.

Today, we spend a huge amount of time, interacting with screens. Somehow, screens have replaced people and human-to-human interaction has elapsed. How about making some technology that makes people the centre of everything? Microsoft HoloLens can do that by not limiting our interactions to screens and through connecting us to other humans, bringing us infinitely closer to each other.

With Microsoft HoloLens, the technology can not only see what we see but also experience what we touch and feel. It makes 3D holograms a part of our real world, enabling us to experience it as a part of our surrounding. Such technology not only helps companies to build better products, but it also helps NASA scientists to explore different planets holographically.

Microsoft HoloLens To Evolve Humans Interact

After a few decades, maybe 2D technology will be really limited and people will adopt more realistic ways for interaction, some technology that really understands humans and their behavior and will enhance human experience instead of limiting it. The way these holograms facilitate humans to be part of more than one physical place at the very same time is completely astonishing.

Microsoft HoloLens

The way Jeff is able to observe the replica of Mars, experiencing it in person is how the future of holographic content will be. It will make it a lot easier to experience virtual things in real life using the amazing Microsoft HoloLens.

As Alex Kipman says, HoloLens can be used in your apartment too. It will automatically learn the structure of your apartment and will map in real time with five frames per second. It will work perfectly fine even if you use it at your home. All you need is constant connectivity so that you don’t stop viewing those amazing holographic content.

So next time you see some ghost-like person, see again, it may be your friend, interacting with you using this wonderful technology.

Nowadays computers are so miraculous, that we fail to notice how dreadful they are. Everyone is so obsessed with their smartphones and laptops that they hardly realize that these technologies are becoming the barriers in their social life in some or the other way. But wait, there are also cases when the very same technology helps you to socialize even more and develop relationships. So who is to blame in such scenario? Is technology the bad guy who creates a barrier between human interactions or it’s us? Well, we can address this problem with the help of neuroscience.

As Meron Gribetz mentions in the video, digital information is not the problem. It is simply the way it is used that really makes the difference. Remember that time when you are so busy in typing those messages or checking someone’s social media profile that you are completely disconnected with your surrounding world? Well, technology was meant to connect us further, instead of separating us from our surrounding. But that hasn’t happened for the longest time! (Okay, stop humming the song!)

Iron Man Would Be Proud of Neuroscience Headset

Technology should be extending our reach, but I think it is doing quite the opposite. It is binding you to those rectangles with more rectangles with some buttons to fumble. Whether you need to send a greeting to a friend or you want to send an email to your boss, you are relying on this technology, which doesn’t even let you live in the present. It creates its own world, and you are somewhere lost inside it. There should be a better alternative to this as we are introduced to those natural machines that use augmented reality to reconnect us with our surrounding.

When you use Meta 2 like headset, which uses neuroscience, it extends your senses, instead of going against them. You can simply touch and manipulate the objects, learn new details and interact with the things in real world, making it a part of your surroundings. Whether you are shopping for some dresses or buying a car, you can simply touch the product to know more about it. There are endless possibilities of how to use this natural machine and interact with the objects using augmented reality. So with the help of neuroscience, the future of technology is no more locked inside the computer screens.

Crowned as the world’s best professional Go player, Lee Sedol is playing his third match against AlphaGo that is powered by Google DeepMind Artificial Intelligence. So far, Lee Sedol has lost two out of five matches already, and while you’re reading this, the third match is underway in Seoul at the Four Seasons hotel. Today’s match will be the icebreaker. Lee Sedol needs to come up with some serious strategies to defeat AlphaGo if he needs to keep his crown intact as the best player of the most complex Chinese board game, Go. His victory is also crucial for proving that however intelligent AI programs might be, it’s still the humans that take the lead.

You can watch the live stream of this match with commentary here.

Artificial Intelligence Defeat Lee Sedol

A proud moment for Google’s AlphaGo as it beats Go Champion Lee Sedol thrice in a row, but an equally depressing moment for the world’s top champion who is known as the master of strategy. Sedol admits how challenging and pressurizing the entire match has been for him, and maybe the most difficult match in his entire career.

AlphaGo’s third victory in a row marks a major accomplishment for Google DeepMind as it proves just how powerful its AI program is, by consistently defeating the master of the most complex game in the universe.

Remember the Luxo Jr. from the Pixar? The way they link emotions to a desk lamp is amazing. You so want to own a robotic sidekick who can understand you, don’t you? The robots with soul, as the speaker, Guy Hoffman refers ‘em, are more of a friend than some “ROBOTIC” robots.

And as you can see, the Luxo Jr. now officially exists in real life! Helping you find your stuff eh? The lamp here shows care and grace just through motion, which quite displays emotion. It is really astounding how the same mechanical structure can seem caring and gentle by the way it moves and can also seem violent and argumentative at times. It’s surprising how attached we can get to something simply because of the way it moves. It reminds us of the Gyro Gearloose’s Little Helper!

Real Life Luxo Jr – Robots with Soul

You can do all the artistic stuff with these robots, may it be mirroring actions, as actors do, or composing music as a pro music director. These robots with soul can be your music buddy as they not only compose but also enjoy the music with you. Oh and don’t forget the rapping part, robot be like “Look at me when I’m doing my thing! Okay?” and the rapper ought to respond to it.

The way that speaker robot grooves as he appreciates your taste in music is so miraculous!

There is no second thought that robots are going to be a part of our life anytime soon, so it would be far better to have robots with soul, who can fit in our daily lives seamlessly, and do not behave as some “ALIEN” object. They should be allowed to react and to disagree with you at times. After all, we are humans, and imperfections are our best assets, so the robots who will be our mate should also be allowed to be somewhat imperfect instead of being flawless.

This is a Pleurobot, the salamander robot, which can have a proud place in the gigantic squad of childish, sexist, and tyrannical General Haffaz Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen) from the movie “THE DICTATOR”. Why on earth will he need this? Quite frankly, no idea! Maybe because he is an idiot and he might love to gang up such creatures in his army to attack Israel. Whoa! Such big plans huh? Maybe Tom Cruise could use this salamander robot in his next Mission Impossible franchise. Why? Don’t know. But, Leonardo DiCaprio must own one! Why? Because “THE REVENANT” brought him Oscars, the movie focuses on climate change, and because aquatic animals are highly prone to danger due to climatic change, so this way he would save one, i.e., salamander, who cares if it’s not a real one? It’s for charity Eh?

Green Eyed Salamander Robot

So, does this salamander robot wear a swimsuit? No, it is water resistant (At least according to what the good professor states!) Does it spit venom? We highly doubt so! For all we know it’s just made up of sheet metal, plastic, and some composite stuff like any other robot. Does it look scary enough to frighten the daylights out of you? Maybe not, but a child may run for hills if this eerie salamander arrives walking in front. Does it bite? Not unless you poke (Kidding). Does it have a diet plan? Oh no, it does not. Considering it’s still a machine. Why would you like to own one? There’s no exact answer to this, but it can be used to disturb your father while he is busy with the newspaper, to make your mother shriek out loud when she’s heavily occupied in the kitchen.

It’s surely not difficult to make an eerie, lifelike robot, which looks like an animal, but it is way too hard to program a robot in order to function like an animal. Prof. Auke Jan Ijspeert is known for designing biorobots and machines modelled after animals, which are perfectly capable of handling tough terrain and would surely hit front pages of some sci-fi novel.

So what’s next? How about a dinosaur robot? Yes. Keep waiting.
